What Is EBKN?

EBKN is the educational arm of Equine Bodyworks (EBW) and a core component of the larger Know More. Help More. initiative (KMHM). It exists to bridge the gap between formal certification and confident, compassionate practice in the field.

We support equine bodyworkers and professionals through:
- High-impact continuing education courses
- Learning materials that are practical, printable, and usable in the field
- Opportunities for reflection, refinement, and resilience
- Community events and discussions that foster peer learning and growth

This is a learning space that respects what you already know while helping you fill the gaps, evolve your understanding, and increase your ability to help horses — and their humans.

Why EBKN Was Created

Through her years as a bodyworker, educator, and mentor, Becky Tenges saw a pattern: brilliant equine professionals often left training programs still unsure how to integrate what they’d learned into real-world work with horses.

So she built a better way — rooted in three core beliefs:
1. Knowing more changes how we see, feel, and respond.
2. Learning never ends, especially for those who care deeply.
3. Safe, respectful spaces are essential to effective professional growth.

EBKN is where these principles come to life. It’s a knowledge network designed by a bodyworker, for bodyworkers — with heart, humor, and humanity at the center.

A Note From Becky

“When you speak for the horse, when you work with your hands and your heart, and when you step into another layer of learning — I want you to feel seen, supported, and equipped. That’s why EBKN exists.”
— Becky Tenges, EBKN Founder & Educator

This integrative practice is rooted in one central principle:

“Follow the horse. Let them show us what needs attention — and then meet them there.”
